Babamars - Whatever happened to all our pionners. (2004)

Babamars es un banda relativamente desconocida por nuestros lares, se trata de un trio de Montepellier, que comenzaron a sonar allá por el cambio de siglo, (el 2000)y su música es la que sería si la Alaska más petarda hubiese nacido en Manchester. Pura descarga de metadoneica para alegrar esas mañanas invernales que se nos avecinan, vecinas. Para mi gusto, el "su temazo, gracias" de este disco es la segunda canción, con alusiones al chicas fáciles y gin tonics on the rocks, pero no podemos olvidar la primera, y la tercera "Champange make bubbles in my head" con un principio un tanto tristón pero cambia radicalmente para hacer mover el esqueleto hasta que necesiten tres en uno. Sunshine Pop lo han descrito por ahí, un discazo redondo con todas las letras y que os trasportara a la rivera francesa con martinis y rodajitas de limón aunque fuera esté lloviendo.
